The renewable supply chain constrains sustainability initiatives. New plants, production techniques, designs, and testing are elevating the constraints across wind, solar, and battery production.
Many sustainable sources of supply such as green steel, green hydrogen, bio-based organic acids, and battery materials recovery facilities are still in their infancy and just beginning to come online. The lack of capacity is constraining downstream manufacturers from accomplishing their sustainability initiatives.
The reality is our technologies do not support so called sustainable solutions for CO2 reduction and certainly not in a scalable or affordable way.
I guess the best bet is to always stick with the lowest cost solutions and forget about all this NetZero stuff until we do have lower cost solutions as anything else will effect prosperity which is not going to work.
